Working method
Legal translations require advanced knowledge of the law, mastery of the source and target languages and writing skills to reflect the nuances of the original document.
I begin by identifying my audience and the language and legal system of the source text.
Then, during the translation phase, I research terminology and, if necessary, comparative law. Finally, I make sure that the meaning of the message is conveyed with great rigour.
